WHO HAS THE BEST DRAGSTER AT OUR SCHOOL/CLASS?
TWO ASPECTS TO THE CHALLENGE - SHINE & SHOW (40 marks) and SPEED (60 marks)
SHINE AND SHOW could have four sections:
1. SHAPE:Does it look like a car or a racing dragster? Does its shape appeal to the eye? (10)
2. ORIGINALITY: Is it an imaginative design? Has it that element of surprise? (10)
3. CONSTRUCTION: Is the bodywork smooth or bumpy? Can you tell its made of wood? (10)
4. FINISH: How good is the paint work decorative work? (10)
SPEED
A car gains 10 marks for entering the time trial.
The best 8 cars in the class are determined by the time trial
These 8 drag race head-to-head elemination knock-out The winners at each round gain 10 marks
AND SO ON UNTIL A WINNER IS FOUND... too easy!
